Life and kids moved fast and these clients never prioritized design. Their realtor's staging requests kicked off a journey to discover their style so the items they bought to stage could move with them as pieces they loved. We worked with what they had whenever possible, leveraged a few pops of paint while keeping the neutral light fixtures and wall color for the selling process.
Happiness was rooted in place and time for them — lake house summers in Maine, 70s kitchens with games around the table. We brought in mid-century pieces and a peppering of brutalist and folk to infuse some personality into this traditional builder grade home.

We used a lot of existing pieces, procured new ones but definitely didn't 'complete' their vision. We continued to develop their style into the new home in Bozeman - more to come on that.
